About RADispatch...

RADispatch was first built back in 1998 as a custom solution for a Courier company that my wife and I owned. My wife was doing all of the accounting work, and I was running the day-to-day operations of a 24x7 ... Between the two of us, most weeks consisted of over over 200 hours of very hard, intensive work. We were using the standard paper systems that most delivery companies use when starting up. Big tables, littered with slivers of paper representing "runs", phones and 2-way radios ringing and bleeping, drivers running here and there...

It became increasingly difficult for me to see my wife working so many hard hours to fulfill MY dream - the frustration of her having to enter payroll and reconcile billing and driver paperwork every single week. Given all of this, I started to think about what could be done to help alleviate her having to put in so many long, hard hours. About a week later, I surprised her with a web-based solution - RADispatch was born. It allowed for multiple customers, runs with single line pickup and delivery addresses, driver tracking, and customer billing.

The original version of RADispatch, back in 1998, consisted of 1500 lines of source code in 18 files. Today, RADispatch consists of over 252,000 lines of source code in more than 790 files. This number grows every day as new features are added. We listen to the needs and suggestions of our customers and add new features to RADispatch almost on a daily basis. Our rigorous regression testing assures that there are no flaws with new features before they are released.

To use RADispatch, you must have Internet Explorer, Version 5 or above. Netscape Navigator and others will not work with the RADispatch system. All web interaction with RADispatch is 128-bit SSL secure (HTTPS).

Hundreds of thousands of deliveries have been processed since the inception of RADispatch. Our servers are housed in a fully redundant data center in downtown Denver. Multiple, redundant, enterprise class web servers, mail servers, and database servers bring RADispatch to life. Scheduled maintenance is performed on servers at regular intervals. Development and Testing servers are housed at our corporate offices in Parker, CO. All of our servers are protected by state-of-the-art firewalls, both hardware and software based. Information is strictly confidential and never shared with any entity outside RADispatch.
